Health Qigong and TaijiQuan course
Qigong is a training system based on traditional Chinese medicine that combines exercises of strength, flexibility, breathing, and concentration (mind) work. There are several scientific studies that recommend the practice of Taiji Quan and Qigong due to its benefits for our mind and body. It helps to improve poor body posture, fight sedentarism, improve the immune system, and improve cardio/vascular resistance and flexibility, among other benefits.
The “health Qigong and Taiji Quan” is made up of the teaching of the basic work of Taijiquan (hand movements, leg positions, and 3 basic routines). Its main purpose is to improve the physical and mental health of our students with the foundations of Taijiquan. The Health Qigong practice includes the learning of famous routines such as “Ba Duan Jin,” “Wu Qin Xi,” “Yi Jing Jin,” etc. We also work with “Daoyin Yangsheng Gong, a Qigong program created by professor Zhang guan De, a professor at Beijing Sports University and promoted around the world by his students, and professor Hu Shao Fei PhD, also a professor at the Wushu Institute of the Beijing Sports University.
Our courses start on the 1st and 15th of each month. During the summer, the regular training is suspended and we open special summer courses.
